Policies and Registration…
Medical Form Requirement
The health and safety of our campers is our top priority. As part of the registration process, a completed medical form is required for every camper. This form provides us with important information about your child’s health history, medications, allergies, and any special considerations so that our staff can provide the best care possible.
Please note: campers cannot be admitted to camp without a current medical form on file. Be sure to return the completed form along with your registration materials to ensure your camper’s spot is fully secured.
Health & Medical Care
If a camper becomes ill, our medical staff will provide the necessary care and then notify parents/guardians of the situation. In the event of an injury that requires additional medical treatment, parents/guardians will be contacted prior to care whenever possible.
Please note: Camp NEOFA is not responsible for injuries related to body piercings. We strongly advise that campers do not wear piercing jewelry while at camp.
Insurance Policy
A camper’s personal health insurance will be billed first for any medical expenses. Camp NEOFA’s insurance serves as secondary coverage only.
The Camp Store
Camp NEOFA’s store gives campers the chance to pick up small treats, snacks, camping essentials, and souvenirs during their session. To make things simple, parents can deposit money into a camper’s store account ahead of time. Campers can then use their account like a credit balance to make purchases—cash is not accepted at our camp store.
Parents may choose the amount to deposit, and any unused funds will be returned at the end of the session.
Check In & Check Out
Check in time is Sunday after lunch at noon. Check out time is on Saturday by Noon.
Contact the camping director if you need special exceptions. There is a $10.00 fee for any extra day of check in or out.
Arrival at Camp
When you first arrive at Camp NEOFA, stop by the office to complete registration. At that time, you’ll receive your cabin assignment. After check-in, you may drive your vehicle to your assigned cabin to unload before parking in the designated area.
Medication Policy
For the health and safety of all campers, all medications—prescription or over-the-counter—must be given directly to the camp medical staff at check-in. This ensures that medications are stored securely and administered properly, according to the instructions provided by you and your child’s healthcare provider.
Please do not pack medications in your camper’s luggage. Our medical team will review your child’s needs at registration and will keep everything organized and accessible. This policy helps us prevent missed doses, accidental misuse, or sharing of medications between campers.
If you have any special instructions or concerns about your child’s medication, please let our medical staff know during drop-off.
